Lion has me at the end of my tether, everytime I reboot windows that have been set using show view options revert back to how they were before.

Whenever Finder window view settings do not stick, it is likely because the system is not properly interacting with the hidden ".DS_Store" files that are placed in every directory that you have interacted with using the Finder....

Just to say I used one of the programs yesterday to remove all the .ds files and this morning all the windows when opened are OK, thanks for that

Careful AT&T may detect that tether.
