Hi everyone,

Just wondering if anyone's had any recent luck with ABC's Full Episode Player . No matter the episode or series I always receive an error message.

I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling, using a different browser, and even a different computer with no luck.

Just wondering if everyone's having a problem, or it's just me. Thanks! :)

First, you'll need to uninstall the player:

Follow these instructions to uninstall Move Media Player for Mac OS X:

Step 1
- Open a Finder window
- Click the Home icon (usually has your account name by it) in the Finder window
- Double click Library
- Double click Internet Plug-ins
- Drag the Move Media Player plugin to the trash

Step 2
- Double click Library
- Double click Caches
- Drag the "Move Networks" directory to the trash
- Empty the trash

Then, you can reinstall by launching the player (via the link in my first post).

I just tried with adblock disabled and it worked. It didn't with it disabled. That often keeps videos from playing, especially when they include commercials.

I don't have any form of adblock (or any other add-ons) installed for Safari. I don't even have the popup blocker enabled.

I did a re-install and its still not working. I also tried it on my fathers Mac and my Mac here at work. I'm not getting an error message I am just getting a black screen on every machine.

Looks like more reports are starting to pop-up around the internet: for some it's working just fine, but many others are still having problems. Based on what I've heard, the problem is not platform or browser specific.

Looks like we'll just have to wait. :(

this process worked for me, though i also searched for 'move' (in finder) and deleted a secure preference file with a name containing 'movenetworks'

i also set my settings as suggested above, to be sure. thanks for the help!

Were you having troubles with the player?

I haven't been having any troubles for about two weeks now.

Other than the reinstall method has anyone come up with a solution to this yet? It seems numerous people are still having this problem.

Thanks

YAY for Firefox!!

Give up on Safari and download Firefox. On Safari I kept getting a screen reading "you have an outdated version of the player, it will update now, and the show will start automatically". A long wait later and nothing had happened. I downloaded Firefox and was nervous because the same message appeared. However, less than a minute later it was updated and playing my show!!!!!
