Knowing that the iPhone does not have Flash, is it possible to watch TV shows with some type of workaround?

Don't know your location, but here in UK we have several options..I use TV Catchup, it's got most of our Freeview digital channels. Another option, though costly, would be to purchase and instal a Slingbox or equivalent on your home cable/aerial setup and watch and change channels using the Slingplayer app. I aslo have this and can control my Virgin cable box and harddrive recorder.

I am looking for a simple solution for watching TV on the iPhone just like watching TV on my computer. Not looking to spend any cash to do this, because this is just a want and not a need.

If I miss an episode of a program I watch or if I want to see it again, it is easy to do on the Internet. Since I just got an iPhone 4, I am having fun playing with it.
