Ability to return iPhone purchased through At&t Next?

looking at buying a 6 and 6+ for 2 separate lines. one with a normal upgrade and the other with the At&t next upgrade. has anyone returned a phone when they bought with the next upgrade and if so how easy/difficult was it?
