you can Pre-sign for delivery through a link in the shipment notification that they will send you so I believe you have to wait until it has shipped

When the item ships there will be a blue button next to your order that says "pre-sign for delivery" or something similar. You print the form and sign it and leave it on your door.

Yes. When the status is shipped, the button will be where the cancel button usually is.
