Could someone who has participated in this year's Back to School (I'm in the UK btw) tell me whether the rebate process requires any proof of ID?

Thank you!:)

No proof of student ID when i submitted my claim.

Just your retail store receipt (or online invoice), the barcodes from your computer and ipod, and a completed online rebate form printout.

Be sure to send by 'signed for' recorded delivery.

Thanks. Have you received the cheque or the fund via wire yet? I don't know if they'd randomly request additional proof of ID before sending out the cheque or wiring the refund.

They shouldn't do as this should've been verified at the time of purchase - the receipt(s) you send will show that a student discount had been applied.

You can check your rebate status online once you've submitted the necessary documents.

I haven't received a cheque in the post yet, but the FAQs say it could take up to two months.
