So I was on netflix and google at the same time when I went on wikianswers. Suddenly I get a pop up saying some kinda of file or something called about/blank/ is trying to connect to the internet. It was an adobe pop up window.
I clicked okay which apparently is "no" unless u alter ur settings which I didnt.

What is this? Everything seems to say this is some sort of malware or hacking device.

Should I be concerned? Any way to make sure it's not on my computer.

I'm using google chrome btw.

hi 3v0, if you was on windows it would cause real concern, but your mac mate, wouldnt let it bother you. i got this couple of days ago, cant remember what site i was on but there was no probs.

Nothing to worry about. about:blank is a standard blank page built into Firefox and IE... possibly Safari and Opera too, I wouldn't know, never use either of those.

I use about:blank as my homepage, so my browser doesn't waste time loading a web page every time I start it up.
