Is there anything that can be done about the dust/particles that get into the small areas on the keyboard? These areas are the ones you see when you press down a key. For example, when I press down M, I see these dust/particle things. I don't know how I would remove them due to them being in such a small space :-|

Some canned air might help, but just be careful about the keys coming off. They can be snapped back on, you just don't want them to break or get lost. I also picked up a little USB powered vacuum that's really handy for those types of things, but it was at a clearance place, so I don't know where to send you to find one.
