I never really looked but my laptop is running low on GB. So I did a disk inventory and found that AIFF is using a lot of room on my laptop, and I use Garageband a lot. I looked and I found that all instruments are AIFF, but then I looked in another Garageband folder and there they were again in CAF Audio. The odd thing is all the AIFF ones are from 2003 (I assume thats when they were made) and the CAF Audio were 2007. So I am not sure what is going on and which is the correct one.
There was a time when I was not using my G5 and got this laptop, I moved a lot of files, including Garageband (cause I had loop packs on there, etc.).
I figure Garageband uses AIFF, unless they changed it.....
Or are both formats important. I also see doubles of instruments (which may have to do with the AIFF/CAF) and I want to delete the doubles.
Can anyone help me with this?
Thank in advance!!!
