sometimes it's just as good as 4.3.3 and sometimes it's like iOS 5 beta 1. Today it lasted for 5 hours after a full charge. Then it reached 20% Is anyone else who is running beta 4 having this issue?

yeah i have this issue.Sometimes it lastes 2 days for example and sometimes for 5-6 hours of use.Yesterday it dropped to 40% after 2 hours.Anyway hope for an update

Ok cool good thing I'm not the only one. I was trying to restore to 4.3.3 but it wouldn't work so I just stuck with beta 4

B5 is working much better for me in terms of batter life, iPhone 4 and two 3gs's.

I was actually thinking of downgrading. Do I just put the phone into DFU mode and option click restore with the 4.3 ipsw?

The work around was to downgrade to beta 2 first and then to 4.3.3. It won't work if you try and downgrade from this beta or beta 3.

Ohhh ok ok. I guess that explains the error 1604 when I tried restoring earlier.

No DFU mode is ever needed. Just download the firmware file you want to go to from here:

http://www.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=750

And then option-click restore and select the file.

Note that unless you have your signatures, or BLOBs, saved for older firmwares, you can only go to the one Apple is currently signing, which is 4.3.5.

I did try downgrading to ios 5 beta 2 but I used iTunes 10.5 beta 4. Hmmm I'll check it out.

my phone is stuck on DFU mode and itunes isnt even letting me go back to beta 4.

now i have a bricked phone :(

But I still have to downgrade to beta 2 correct?

No, shouldnt have to. Just follow my instructions.

If you get an error at the very end, just download TinyUmbrella, run the program, and click "Exit Recovery". Your phone will be just fine.

I told them not to put the 4 and 5 keys so close together when they designed these keyboards... ;)

Beta 4
