this is a very newbie question...
I jailbreaked my Ipad2 some months ago, since I was interested in installing on it MAME. But I'm not interested in other offerings from the Cydia community for now...
If I install the new iOS5 on it, I know no JB is available for now.
What I'd like to know: will it render unusable my faithful MAME app or not?
I can live for now without more JB apps, but not without my MAME!

thanks for your help!

i believe MAME is a jailbroken .app, so the answer is yes. once iOS 5 is installed you no longer will have a jailbroken device or the MAME app and since to download it again you will need cydia no j/b = no cydia \ no cydia = no MAME

damn, what I feared - though I hoped that already installed JB apps would remain there.
But, more in general, this means that at every iOS update - even though I jailbreak it 1 minute after I installed it - I always have to reinstall every Cydia app?
