OK. I sometimes end up using the apple wired mighty mouse, from my iMac, on my macbook. My hands and fingers hurt when I use the trackpad on the macbook.

I have the right click button to open/select, left button to open a new tab/window, side buttons to launch expose, and push of the scroll wheel to activate spaces.

Will I be able to assign these the same way with the vx nano? I understand the nano has 5 buttons vs. 4 buttons for the apple mouse. And I read that I need to download something from the logitech website in order to use the nano and assign button functions to use on a mac. Correct? Any help is appreciated.

Yes, you can fully program the VX Nano using the Logitech Control Center software that comes with it. I'm very pleased with this mouse!

Thank you so much. Anyone know where I can get it cheaply:p?
