What I read its an Bogus opportunist like many self proclaimed Insiders (some of them I've quoted before as DarkNetGuy) which maybe dont have an actual insider at Apple and what they do is to launch some predictions using some logic as used to do by some astrologers...

Few Facts to remenber:
Apple's Inminent new Campus aka The Space Ship Inauguration comes 1H'17, Would Apple miss this party w/o New Macs Announcements?

Xeon Based Coffe lake iMacs development it almost done at the same time as it core i7 version since C236 and Z270 chipset share logic board (pcb) design, only differentiators are the Chipset itself and Memory modules (in case where soldered, coz ECC-SODIMM and non ECC-SODIM shares socket), even c236 supports both Core i5/i7 and Xeon, thus actually a single logic board can be used across the iMac 5K -the Only One I guess will have the 'pro' moniker if any special moniker its used-.

So its very Likely Apple to introduce new iMacs at the Space Ship inaugural party and At Least introduce its Pro (xeon) variant, just dont expect nothing more powerful than a underclocked RX580 and Xeon E3v6 Quad Core, and of course a bunch of TB3 ports.
