? about the back of an iPhone 3G

To all of you that have had you 3G for awhile. How is the back of it holding up? Is it getting scratched up bad? Does it scratch easily? I am thinking about getting a 3Gs which I assume will have the same back as the 3G. I would also like to know if the 3G has more grip than the original 2G. I find the 2G to be very slippery and would like to know how it compares to the feel of the 3G.

My back is fine, but its in a case for protection.
 
I had my white 3G for about 9 months before getting it replaced (dust under screen), but during those 9 months the back looked as good as when I got it. It wasn't in a case and it was never dropped... so just take care of it and you'll be fine.:D
 
Thanks for the replies. How does the grip feel? Is it easier to hold onto or is it slippery like the 2G?
 
The only thing that really see on mine are hairline srcatches that aren'lly t noticeable unless u look really close
