Hello Guys,

I just got a new iPhone 3 days ago and I see that I'm not eligible for the iPhone 4 Case Program.

From Apple: We now know that the iPhone 4 antenna attenuation issue is even smaller than we originally thought. A small percentage of iPhone 4 users need a case, and we want to continue providing them a Bumper case for free. For everyone else, we are discontinuing the free case program on all iPhone 4s sold after September 30, 2010. We are also returning to our normal returns policy for all iPhone 4s sold after September 30. Users experiencing antenna issues should call AppleCare to request a free Bumper case.

Does this means that now new iPhones don't have the antenna issue?

I tested what I've seen in Youtube about what happens when you put your finger in the antenna and YES.. the signal starts to drop... :(

Yes, all iPhones have this problem. It's just that if you're in a stronger signal area, it won't affect you.

So? Have you dropped any calls? That's what should worry you not if the signal drops after 2 minutes or so by holding it trying to make it fail.

I've had 2 iPhone 4 now (I sold my 16Gb one to get more memory) and I have NEVER dropped a call because of the "signal issue" just put a case on it and you'll be fine :)

Yes you're right!

No drop calls yet. You're right too!!!

that's problem is solve now and originally it is not in all 4g phone, some of stock only, but now is ok, you can buy now good one. don't worried about that.

Did not lose reception in corporate conference where many phones don't have signal.

Using it with a case. I bought the $29 case even before the program.

True, I highly recommend a case whether or not you have the antenna issue. The back of the phone is glass, as well as the front. Even "Gorilla Glass" will break, and will scratch, and it doesn't take a diamond to do it.

If you want to keep your phone in great condition so you can sell it at your next upgrade then a case is a very valuable asset.

Also enjoy your awesome, magical iPhone.
