About the iTunes files

Backing up the iTunes.it file and following :
https://support.apple.com/en-au/HT201610

Not really specific in nature, but can anyone confirm backing up this file will backup the "sort order" ? If it won't preserve sort order in iTunes eg Sort Tab>> Sort as.. my video collection, then i'll need to find another solution..
