Hi, I'm gonna be heading to college next year and will be getting a new MB as I've heard nothing but good things about 'em. My question is, is the rebate you get when purchasing an iPod along with the MB a store credit rebate or will it be actual cash back? I ask because if it's cash back theres really no reason not to, but if it's store credit I don't think I'll be getting one. Anyway thanks for the help in advance.

I believe you get store credit, or a coupon of some sort. But I don't know. My mum bought a MB just 2 days before they announced the promotion.

I think it says on the promotion's special page.

Details:

1. Buy a Mac.
Buy a new MacBook, MacBook Pro, iMac, or Mac Pro using your education discount.

2. Add an iPod.
Purchase an iPod or iPod nano with your qualifying Mac and get up to $199 back after mail-in rebate.

3. Submit your rebate.
After you receive your products, start your rebate online for fastest processing. Or download and mail the rebate form.

Probably the red nano one. costs the same and apparently helps people... sounds good to me.
