About the RMBP and its "issues"...

Hi all

New on the forum, and about to purchase my 1st ever MAC...

Im looking forward to buying the new MBPR!

Lately however, it seems that when you surf forums etc., "a lot" of people are having issues like, the "ghost retention-gate", creaky sound from the thin chassis, fast scrolling lag on websites...

Should one expect issues like, creaky sounds, weird noises from the battery etc, since its a new gen MBP?

Are those with issues just a small percentage, and is that normal regarding new product launches???

Or is really ideal to wait for the next refresh of the MPBR???

Im really not into playing the waiting game, on the other hand, Id hate to buy stuff that's "unfinished"...

Any help, advice or experience is much appreciated...

Typically what you hear on Forums such as this are a very small minority of vocal users
Folks with problems tend to post exponentially more than those without problems

While there is no question some are experiencing isolated issues, the vast majority are not
Your mileage may vary, and your tolerance threshold may be significantly higher as well

I would say buy, and try
If it doesn't satisfy you, you can always return it
