Am I the only one who think it looks like
some kind of murder weapon that could be in
Movie Saw?
I think the tooth of the chain should be more thicker or something.

i dont see any chain. and it looks more like internal clock or watch movements to me over anything else.

Maybe they'll change it like they did in iOS 6, iOS 5 and lower had a razor sharp settings icon.

I think they made it look like the inside of a fancy Swiss watch, which is perhaps a reference to a more refined settings mechanism

That is my least favorite of the new icons. I'm afraid to touch it. It looks like its going to grind up my finger. Ugly, ugly, ugly.

It is truly hideous. The other icons have grown on me a bit -- though I still maintain that the circles for most of the icons are a bit too large -- but Settings sticks out like a sore thumb.

You might not have seen what seems like dozens of icon complaint threads in this forum--tons of people dislike it (the settings along with the the Safari icon are probably two of the most disliked, although there are certainly at least a few more that are often disliked by quite a few).

Am I the only one that doesn't care what the damn icon looks like? I glance at it once every blue moon, so no it doesn't bother me.
