Has anybody noticed discrepancies under the 'About my Mac' menu?
My work pretty much orders the same configured Macs, but while reimaging this unit it showed as having the Radeon Pro 560x vs our usual Intel UHD..
So I started Googling differences and was like... 'This one is mine!'.. haha
Checked the menu today and now I'm just like the rest.. Intel UHD 630..
I've only seen delays in this menu with the model (being 2017, 2018, etc). But not graphics.

I suppose if it changed, it changed and I've just got a 'regular Mac' in my hands. 🤨

A MacBook Pro has both a Radeon Pro "discrete" and the built-in Intel "integrated" graphics processor.

Which is used will generally depend on what software is running, and whether any external displays are attached. I believe the "About this Mac" screen shows just the currently active GPU.

Plug in an external monitor, if it changes, you know you have the discrete GPU. All of your machines might, depending as noted above on year and model.

Or just look in System Information, where they're both listed, whether active or not.

So I pulled the system report and both are indeed listed.
I guess since I generally with imaging I'm inclined to only ever notice Intel UHD because I am never doing much with it.
I restored this unit again since I needed to do a full transfer from my 2017 MBP.
Now when checking About this Mac, both cards are listed (vs. active as stated above).
But I suppose I seemed to have forgotten these had dual video on them.

Thanks for the input team,

MacK
