Hi all,

I upgraded to Lion the other day..loving it so far.

Although after tinkering around with it and looking through to see what else has been changed, I came across the 'About This Mac' section, which is similar to iTunes in the way that it shows you the file type and how much storage has been used for that file. Which is a good idea..if anyone didnt know (I'm sure you all do)

However, on my mac in this section it has the sections for documents and alike, but then the 'Other' section shows over 200GB, I presume this includes all my music, movies and images. But my query is Why has it shown up in other and not in the designated sections that it should?

Any ideas?

The only way I could think why it would do this is because the music and movies are all on iTunes and they are stored in the designated folders within the iTunes folders for organisation. Surely Apple would have accounted for this and made it so the Music and Movies folders within iTunes show up in the correct sections in 'About This Mac'

I'm at work at the moment but will post a screenshot when I get home later if anyone needs to see it.

Thanks for reading my 'little' essay
