"about this mac" won't open

As the title says, "about this mac" won't open. When I go to the apple logo in the top corner and click on "about this mac" it won't open.

I think I have lion: 10.7.2 But as you might understand, I'm not sure because I can't open about this mac .

Can I find it somewhere in finder (so I could maybe copy the program from another mac)?

I checked and repaired the permissions of my SSD. I have a macbook pro 2010.

It's in the /Applications/Utilities folder. You can also just do a Spotlight search for "System Profiler" to locate it.
