About to buy macbook pro please advise?

Hello my dear macrumors people!
There's this macbook on craiglist it is a Macbook PRO retina display late 2013 the base one
it has 4gb ram, 128 gb HDD and the iris 1536 MB i think i can get it for 500 dlls would that be a good price or not? Also anything i should watch for buying this mac?
Other than the force touch on the new macbooks would i be missing anything new guys?
I've heard alot of bad things about the retina macbook's that some had bad LED's screens or ghost type effect? over heating and such are the late 13 less common to have this?

MY uses would be, facebook,youtube,movies, light games suck as those flash games and facebook, office, skype, netflix

The new MacBook Pros have force touch track pads, much faster SSD's and more and faster RAM. It depends if these are important to you or not.
