About to get an iPad Pro...but have question on iCloud Photo Library with it

Hi all
I'm about to get an iPad Pro (10.5") and turn on iCloud Photo Library. Question...I take a lot of gopro vids of my sons' baseball and upload it to the iPad so that I can edit through iMovie. Does iCloud photo library also backup those gopro and iMovie vids? Or only videos specifically taken with an iPad or iPhone?

iCloud should work with all files in photo folder,including GoPro videos.
