I just turned 18 today! Crazy!! Never thought this day would come! I'm so nervous to graduate and go to college, although I'm just going to a community college for the first 2 years, does anyone have any recommendations on where I can get free money/scholarships/financial aid?

If you're in the United States don't forget to fill out your FAFSA online. I had about a two thirds of my tuition paid by grants.

fastwebs.com has alot of scholarships and info, also contact the school you are going to =)

I don't know how it works in the US, but I think it'll depend on your family's combined income, even if you're planning on paying it all yourself. It may even depend on the part of the city where you live, ethnicity, etc.

Even then, applying for more scholarships will obviously increase your chances of getting one.

How much money was in the plastic bags? ;)
