I'm about to pull the trigger on a 2.66/4gb config but am unsure on the HDD. From what I've gathered, the 256gb SSD that Apple ships is primarily the Toshiba, with a few Samsung's and even Hitachi's since the beginning of March. Problem is, there's no way to know which one you're gonna get. Obviously, of those three, the Samsung is the one I'd want.

What are the details on the 128gb SSD? I couldn't find anything.

Or would I be better off skipping the Apple option, going with the stock, and then buying an SSD like the G.Skill or Intel afterwards?

i would say do it on your own. it will be cheaper plus if your like me it's fun to do it on your own.
