For $800 I can buy a quad core i7 Mini that is likely faster than the new base quad i5 iMac for $1300. I better buy it before Apple changes its mind on pricing.

I just bought a Mac Mini Server with 2.6GHz Quad Core 4GB RAM and 2 x 256GB SSD. Ordered the 16GB 1600MHz memory from Mac Sales.

I was disappointed with the lack of dedicated graphics, but hey, Parallels performance will be that much better.

I usually buy RAM from OWC but I went with Crucial this time... $82 vs. $115. Both companies have excellent ratings; it isn't worth the hassle to save a little more money getting RAM from other suppliers.
