About to purchase a Mac Pro...

So im getting ready to purchase my first mac pro...after getting a macbook pro in June, fell in love with apple's computers.

I've decided to purchase the quad core however, a quick question for those in the know.

What is the general consensus on apple refurbs? Im currently looking at this 24" apple refurb display, rather than the the 899 they are offering it for 599.

Are they both up to par (refurb & retail specs)...I see they both offer the 1 year warranty.

Would just like feedback regarding apple refurbs problems/praise/ect.

If there are any probs, just send it back. General consensus is that they are a good deal and not really a risk.

I have boughten refurb before and its a good deal. Or if you can get it tax free from a neighboring state.

I've never bought a new apple computer, ONLY refurbs. And I've bought maybe a dozen of them and they are always perfect.

I picked up 2 refurb displays and no issues at all with them.
