Heaven or Hell
I am about to sell my Intel Mac Pro Tower
and wanted to know the safest way to securely erase
the OS, and reinstall MAC OS X on it from Scratch...

Just wanted to make sure none of my data is going to
be floating around after i sell it......

If you take the time to tell someone to search, you could probably answer the question in the same amount of time.

Boot your computer from your Restore DVD and then once you select your language and get into the installer, you can open the Disk Utility application (from one of the menu items at the top). Then you select your hard drive in the left-hand side of Disk Utility. There should be an Erase tab on the right, select that and you should have an option to securely erase the hard drive. With some searching you will also find more detailed/documented instructions with screenshots probably.

Thanks. I wouldn't need to be a member of this forum.

I could search the internet and i wouldn't even need to
ask any questions.....
