About to use Photo Stream on Iphone 6. Quick question

Hi all
We just got 6's and about to get an Ipad Air. I see if I enable "my photo stream" on my phone it will automatically upload new photos and send them to my other iCloud device (in this case Ipad).

My question is...does this load it into my camera roll of my ipad or does it place it somewhere where I have to copy it into my camera roll?
