hi guys

the iphone 3G is available in small stores in hk for more than 9000 hk$. the shop assistants say it is unblocked but how is it possible to verify that?!

also, apple says much info is in the sim card from the operator able to sell the iphone. does that mean that if we buy an iphone in another place, even unlocked, we won't be able to use all the tools available on the phone?!

thx!

Well, the price, $1155, is good. Plemix now sells the 16GB unlocked for $1450. I don't think you can tell, but I'm sure it is. Besides, many people have successfully unlocked the 3G, so I'm sure your local, friendly Hong Kong hacker can too. :)
