Can anyone help? I have some urgent work to finish tonight, my scanner has died on me, so I went to the local PC World (UK shop) shortly before closing and bought a Packard Bell 1200 Plus USB scanner, which promised Mac functionality (albeit OS9 yawn). Get it home, no trace of any Mac scanners on the CD (despite what it says on the CD label and on the box). In other words, the whole thing is useless. Packard Bell do not have any Mac drivers on their crappy website, nor can I find any anywhere else.

the PB 1200 Plus is a rebadged Mustek BearPaw 1200CU. I have downloaded this driver (the USB version), but, of course, it doesn't work. (I have tried to remember where everything should go in OS9 but have probably got something wrong. Have also tried rebooting CLassic, etc etc.
Apart from turning in the work late and heaving the crappy scanner through the window of PC World, does anyone have any suggestions (or drivers
) ?
