I did the command prompt jailbreak this morning on my 4S using windows 7. Is this the same thing/jailbreak just made easier?

I'm trying this now, and I've been stuck on the "Beginning jailbreak, this may take a while..." screen for about 25 minutes. I know one of the devs said via twitter that if you have a lot of app data that it might take longer, but this is ridiculous. My app data from iClould backups seems to be only about a gig.
