iPod touch Absinthe crashes when trying to jailbreak

My iPhone and iPad are jailbroken on 6.1.2 but I have a touch 4th Generation lying around on 5.1.1 that I decided to jailbreak. For some reason absinthe always crashes in the middle of the jailbreak. Is this normal?

Also I may have updated to 5.1.1 over the air I don't remember. Would this effect my ability to jailbreak? I have a jailbroken iPad and iPhone so I guess if I can't jailbreak it's not the end of the world but I thought it might be nice to have a jailbroken device running 5.1.1

I dont know why Absinthe isnt working. Have you tried Redsn0w. I think they made it compatible with the 4th Gen and 5.1.1. Too bad you cant update the Touch to 6.1.2 and jailbreak with Evasi0n but that window closed. Good Luck
