One question about the new absinthe jailbreak. do you have to restore to do the jailbreak? If so can you use iCloud backup instead of iTunes? Thanks.

It's recommended to do a full restore and backup. Yes, either the one on your computer or iCloud.
yup that's what I did also beaware cydia repo's are over loaded at the moments. Ijust got sbsettings back after tons of tries and errors.
