Is it possible to jailbreak my new iPad with Absinthe 2.0 without wiping it clean? I hate to go though the backup process and i'm just wondering if it's at all possible to just jailbreak it with all my stuff on it?

Yes, as mentioned in the thread about the Absinthe update v2.0.1, you do not have to wipe it to jailbreak it. I didn't have to wipe my iPad 3 when I performed the jailbreak. Only with v2.0.1 though. Very few people had some luck with the old 2.0 version, but its recommended you use the latest version.
There are some people who were able to jailbreak without doing the clean restore. I wasn't one of those lucky people. I say go ahead and try to do it without it. I hope you are able to be one of the lucky ones.
