I have always enjoyed this group. RIP Malcolm.

I read that this morning. His brother passed away 2 months ago as well, so only Angus is left. This band always did things their way, and bucked any and every trend while staying true to rock and metal, and outside of James Hetfield and perhaps Steve Clark, no-one took on rhythm guitar like this guy.

One of my favorite bands of all time. For the better though, I read that his dementia was so bad he couldn’t remember any AC/DC songs. I bet he couldn’t recognize Angus, or himself in the mirror for that matter.

RIP.

I'm not a regular poster, but I have to log in and say RIP to Malcolm Young.

I have to admit, Big Balls has to be one of the most toilet humorous rock songs out there.

The man behind some of the best Rock & Rock ever, and it was interesting how they held off from iTunes for so long. I loved their no BS/politics attitude--just make and play good music. RIP

One of my favorite songs! Last year I went to Melbourne, Australia and the street this is filmed on is now called AC/DC Lane. Has AC/DC artwork along the walls. I spent a good amount of time walking down the alley. Love it.

Wow! That's actually VERY cool! Also, it's wonderful seeing Bon Scott's image on the artwork. As much as I loved this band, I honestly prefer the material that resulted from the Scott years.

Thanks for sharing this awesome AC/DC artwork!

Heh, I WAS going to post that earlier....I completely agree with you. To me, AC/DC died in 1980 along with Scott. I simply don’t care for Johnson, and quite frankly I consider them 2 different bands. In my personal AC/DC anthology mix, it’s 100% Bon era! I’ve met self proclaimed AC/DC fans that didn’t know there’s been more than one singer, ayeeeee.

I saw them last year with Axl Rose and he did a killer job. He was shockingly close to Scott, and made Johnson’s songs sound much better. What a great show.

Yep. I purchased Back in Black and For Those About To Rock (on cassette back in the day) out of loyalty, and only cared for a few songs off each. Yes, they were two different bands, for sure!

Some people's kids...Lol!

I had read that about Rose, but Scott's 'presence' was better IMHO...and, I just never liked Johnson's voice.
