AC power options...

am traveling soon, with my 12" macbook and an iphone SE. was waiting for this:

but sadly, no one seems to know when it's actually going to be out (i've contacted newertech).

so, thinking about this:

That looks considerably larger than the rMB charger. Why not buy a Twelvesouth Plugbug World, you get the same thing in smaller volume, plus all the changeable plugs for different sockets.

i don't need the extra plugs, and something about the plugbug design i don't like. am gonna wait a little longer on the newertech (altho i've been waiting for some time), and may try the one on amazon (and will report my experiences here).

If you have the Apple digital av usb-c adapter, you already effectively have this. I realize it's in two bits rather than one, but if you are carrying any kind of expander for that USB-C port, you don't really need another power-only port at the brick.
