just got a macbook pro....it so far i have yet to travel anywhere with it...so its been plugged in to ac power since i have had it.....is that bad...should i just use the battery just to use it ?

Calibrate it about once a month and maybe take it off the battery for half an hour or so a week and you should be fine.

probably not bad as MJ said just calibrate it monthly. It's pretty smart about keeping the battery healthy so you don't have to worry about it.
