I have a video file that I'm trying to watch. It is a .avi file, but it also has AC3 audio. When I try to play it, I get video but no audio. Anyone know how to fix this?

Download the AC3 Codec. Such as this one.

Still nothing. Here's a picture of the file if it helps:

I have my QuickTime components in /Library/QuickTime/ (not in ~/) and they work perfectly. You are quitting QuickTime when you put these components in to pick up changes?

If the steps above don't work why not just use VLC it can play everything.
