AC3 Lipsync Problem

When playing a file made with Handbrake on my imac in Quicktime it plays fine (using the channel 1 AAC) audio.

However, when playing the AC3 on AppleTV there is about .5 second delay. I have re-encoded the files changing settings but it keeps showing up?

Any ideas? I am doing 1280x720 strict, and use default appleTV settings for audio.

Is there a way to deselect the AC3 track on the appletv?
