iPod touch Accelerometer Problem

hey guys,

About 2 hours ago, the accelerometer on my 32gb 3G Touch quit working. I had to restore my Touch 2 times before I got it working again. My system is out of warranty, is this a sign that my system is starting to break apart? You think I will see more of this problem in the future?

Before I restored, I even tried restarting but it did not work either. I tried with Labyrinth games to find if the accelerometer even worked, and on the game, the ball just stayed there. It wouldn't move, so it's like the accelerometer froze or something.
