Hopefully someone can help me answer a quick question. Recently whenever I open a program such as the Bit Torrent Client Transmission the operating system throws up a prompt asking me if I want to allow or deny incoming network connections. I went to the system preferences/security/advanced options and confirmed that Transmission, Spotify and Borderlands were set to allow all incoming network connections. I closed the panel and locked the settings. Still whenever I go to open one of those programs I have to choose allow or deny before the program will open. I am curious to find out what is happening here. If this would have happened immediately after I finished downloading a security update I would have just assumed it was caused by that, but I haven't downloaded any securty updates recently.

If it matters I am running Version 10.6.8, firewall turned on and option box stating "automatically allow signed software to receive incoming connections" checked to allow.

Thanks In Advance For The Help,
Leroy Ya Boy
