Hey all -

Another quick question, what is considered acceptable battery life? I used my new 32gb iPad for 5 hours and 30 minutes and it went from 100% to 70%. Is this acceptable? Where can i find out information on this?

Thanks,
Hwilensky

It is absolutely acceptable, I think. If the estimated use of 30 % during 5.5 hs is accurate, it means you should get something like 18-19 hours in total on a full charge. Of course, it depends what you use it for (reading/video/gaming), brightness settings, etc. Most users get at least 10-12 hours on a full charge, though.

Apple's published battery life between charges is up to 10 hours which you would more than make and then some if this is how you will always be using it
