Access a hard drive on a PC over the wireless network ?

I need to access a hard drive on the Vista Pc, but since I've never done anything like this I don't know the appropriate setting in order to do so.

I just need help with what to do, and I would appreciate and ' idiots guide' to networking with the Mac to a PC i.e. file sharing

( yes I have searched and been on Apple's site )

If you take a moment on Google you'll find tutorials like this one. There's also currently at least two other threads currently going on in some of the forums here for this same question. They offer a number of tips and things to try out.
