Hey all, we have a Mac Mini with an HP Officejet 6310 AIO attached to it, and sharing it. Our other computer using that printer is a Sony Vaio running XP Pro. The VAIO has the driver, since it used to be connected to the printer, however. Everytime we try to print from the VAIO, it gives an access denied error when looking in printers and faxes. If trying to print from a program such as Word, it freezes the computer and the print ultimately fails.

I got it to print once, from notepad. But have been unsuccessful the other times.

Settings on the Mac:

File Sharing On (Account On)
Printer Sharing Active
Firewall Disabled

Any ideas?

Follow this as close as possible (it's for OS X 10.4).
Note that you need to use a generic postscript driver on the PC because Mac print queues are expecting postscript input.

Still doesn't work. Not to mention, I have to browse, for some reason I can't connect using the IP.

Still Getting Access Denied. Also tried it via the VM I have on my iMac, and still doesn't work. OS is 10.6 btw.

Any other ideas?
