Okay, I'm a total Jailbreaking n00b here, and I would like to know how to access or edit various things on my iPhone (3G running iOS 4.0.1) from my computer. I've seen people talking about "SSH'ing" their phone, and I'm wondering what that means, too?

Also, I JB'd my phone using the site "Jailbreakme.com" that does it instantly on my phone. I haven't used QuickPwn or anything like that to do it.

If you're more comfortable with a GUI-based approach, I'd recommend DiskAid. That's what I've always used and it couldn't be much easier. It basically allows you to see all of the files present on the phone in an Explorer-type interface.
