I have a 13” m4 iPad and just got a Mac Mini. The Mini is hooked up to my tv, but my goal is to not have to turn the tv on control the Mini from my iPad as if I were sitting in front of it. I tried setting up screen sharing but it did not do anything except allow me to use the mouse and keyboard on both machines depending if I scrolled off the screen.

Can someone please give me a little guidance? This is only on my home network. I am not looking for remote access from outside of my home.

It would be greatly appreciated.

Not that I have a ready-made solution, but . . . are you in full-control of your internal network, and do you use fixed IPs?

I do not have fixed IP’s. Is there some off the shelf solution such as Team Viewer but for internal network use only?

I can literally ssh into my Ubiquity NanoHD if I choose (which I rarely find interest in doing) from any desktop...

I have no idea . . . I only know Team Viewer by name ;(

You'll prob. need to wait for someone else, here, to share.
