I am trying to move some songs that are presently on my desktop. They are songs that originally were on my PC and they all have a WMA extension. When I go through the routine FILE, GET INFO, ETC. I get to the point where they ask me if I"m sure I want to change the ext. from WMA to MP3, and I answer yes. At that point I get a message stating---"INSUFFICIENT ASSET PRIVILEGES"
I've tried everything. No luck. My son who has an older I Mac. doesn't get this message when he does it. I have a fairly new I Mac, running Leopard. I am the sole user of this machine. :confused:Any help, appreciated. I'm trying to get these songs onto I TUNES. Thanks,

Are you an admin user? Probably. Make sure.

Beyond that..

It's because Leopard is a piece of ****. Make sure you're running 10.5.1. If that doesn't help, wait for 10.5.2. Apple seriously needs to iron out it's ACL/POSIX problems.
