The device is an iPhone 4, iOS 7.1 beta 1, jailbroken with cydia updated.

When I tried to add a source, I closed cydia, and it corrupted the sources file. It says there is a malformation in line 5. Therefore I want to open this file from the computer, since I did not install iFile, and I also do not have SSH installed on it.

How can I do this? I'm on a mac. I tried with iFunbx, but it won't show the root folders, only the media one.

Is there something else I can do to access the root ones with my mac?

Thank you!

Install afc2add from cydia and you'll be able to access root via USB

I made a thread about this yesterday because I was having the same problem. The solution is what darricksailo says. Install "afc2add". And of course, install "openSSH" too from Cydia.

The problem is that I am able to use my phone without any problem, but I'm unable to use cydia, so I cannot install something from cydia if it's not working. Also it's easy to restore it, but I want to know how to access the filesystem (root) without installing something from cydia.. C'mon, its jaillbroken, should be a way trough USB that I could do it?

afc2add doesn't seem to have been packaged with evasi0n7 so unfortunately, doesn't seem like you can access the file system with these programs
